My sister invited me to enter a colour challenge at
www.sunnychallenges.blogspot.com . This is my very first challenge as an Independant Stampin Up demonstrator. It really was a challenge too!! I have only a few of the current stamp sets, 1 or 2 pieces each of the coloured card stock, and mainly the ink spots for my stamp pads.... so here is the final result. I am quite pleased with it... I hope you all like it too!!
The colour challenge was for Cherry Cobler, Marina Mist, and River Rock.
The flowers were made with the Big Shot Blossom Party.
Love it!! You have done so well with your interpretation of the sketch and also the colour challenge for this week. Thank you for playing along with us this week at Sunny Challenges and Creations. May this be the first of many entries you submit to us!
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie and welcome to the Stampin' Up! world. I'm sure your sister will be able to guide you beautifully. Never be worried about what stock you have as many of us have limited stock, and so we often just 'make do'.
ReplyDeleteI love your interpretation on the challenge. Its very creative.
I also admire you for entering the challenge world, having only entered it recently myself after two years of being a demo, I'm amazed that I never did it before, as you learn so much through the challenges.
As for your 'blog' All I can say is 'Wow!' I've had my blog for a while now and mine is nowhere as organised as yours.Looking forward to seeing lots more of your work.
Gorgeous card Maggie. The white really makes the colour combination "pop". I can see that there is a very creative streak in your family. I love the swirls coming from behind your flower. Thanks for joining us at Sunny Challenges and Creations this week.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card!! I love what you have done with the colours. I'm a demo too and I find the challenges are a great way to extend ones creativity and "think outside the square". Well done & welcome to challenge-blog-land!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Maggie. The white really makes your flower pop. The swirls are an added bonus. So glad you decided to join us at Sunny challenges & Creations
ReplyDeleteLove it, Maggie. Sometimes having limited resources brings out the most in the creativity! Congrats on becoming an SU demonstrator!
